The object of the study is social and labor relations, which are implemented in the process of promoting youth employment. The purpose of scientific and applied research is to deepen the theoretical and methodological apparatus for substantiating methodological approaches to the formation of mechanisms for increasing the socio-economic efficiency of youth employment in the conditions of economic globalization. Research results of the first stage of the scientific topic: the theoretical-methodological foundations of youth as a special socio-economic category were investigated and summarized; the factors determining the socio-economic efficiency of youth employment were identified and analyzed; the existing institutional mechanisms of youth labor market regulation are studied. The results of the research of the II stage of the scientific topic consist in the determination of modern trends in the formation of youth employment systems in the domestic labor market; analysis of the compliance of the educational services market with youth employment in the labor market; study of domestic and foreign experience in combating youth unemployment.
