Purpose: analysis of medical and demographic indicators of the state of health of the population of radioactively contaminated territories for 1979–2020. Monitoring regions: Lugynskyi, Narodytskyi, Ovrutskyi and Olevskyi districts of Zhytomyr region, Vyshgorodskyi, Ivankivskyi and Poliskyi districts of Kyiv region, Rokytnivskyi and Sarnenskyi districts of Rivne region , Kozeletsky and Ripkinsky districts of Chernihiv region. General scientific, theoretical, comparative analysis, demographic, mathematical-statistical, software-technological, graphic methods were used. On the basis of statistical data for 1979–2020, the dynamics and trends of changes in medical and demographic indicators of the state of health of residents of 11 radioactively contaminated administrative and territorial units were evaluated. With the help of spline models, the values of the levels of birth rate, stillbirth, total and infant mortality, population size for administrative-territorial units were predicted for 2021–2025, subject to a sharp change in demographic processes due to the Chornobyl disaster.
