Research has established that roll compaction and sealing with stretch film according to the 6+6+6 pattern contributes to obtaining the silage resistant to storage conditions during the spring-summer period. The use of improved technology made it possible to reduce biological and mechanical losses by 6.3-10.2%. In addition, the preservative effect if treated with a KofasilLak polybacterial microbial inoculant with increased osmotic resistance in a dose of 6 g/t indicates an increase in the nutritional value of silage from a mixture of winter triticale with with Pannonian peas up to 3.7-4.5 MJ/kg of DM in terms of exchangeable energy and up to 2.7-2.8 MJ/kg of DM in terms of net lactation energy, from a mixture of winter rye with winter vetch – up to 3.4-4.1 MJ/kg DM according to ME and up to 2.3-2.6 MJ/kg DM for the net energy of lactation. In general, the new technology made it possible to reduce the loss of feed nutrients to 6.37-6.9% and accumulate the desired fermentation metabolites: lactic and acetic organic acids in the amount of 2.21-2.34%. The experimental variants of silages should be included in daily rations of dairy cows in the rate of 38-45% of the amount of dry substances of bulk feeds.
