The subject of the research is the diagnosis and evaluation of the reliability, strength, durability, and protection against atmospheric corrosion of metal structures of agricultural machinery under the influence of physical and chemical factors. The goal of the research is to develop a comprehensive system for diagnosing reliability and durability, as well as protecting metal structures of agricultural machinery from corrosion, including the development of energy calculation models and methods for predicting the residual resource of metal structures of agricultural machines under the influence of physical and chemical factors corresponding to the operating conditions, with the development of methodological approaches and recommendations for assessing the technical condition of machines of the specified class and improving the corrosion resistance of their metal structures. Research methods include modeling, analysis, synthesis, formalization, and graphical methods. The comprehensive scientific result is a complex system for diagnosing the reliability and durability and protecting the metal structures of agricultural machinery from corrosion, including the development of energy calculation models and methods for predicting the residual resource of metal structures of agricultural machines under the influence of physical and chemical factors corresponding to the operating conditions.
