The purpose of the work is to improve the results of treatment of patients with RA based on the development of a differentiated approach to the surgical treatment of axial deformations of the knee joint. Research methods are clinical, radiological, biomechanical, cultural, microscopic, immunological, statistical. Research results. An analysis of the influence of the activity and duration of RA, taking anti-inflammatory drugs on the increase of movements in the knee joint after its endoprosthesis was carried out. The relationship between activity, the duration of the pathological process, therapy and indicators of the patient's condition according to the scale of Joseph J., Kaufman E. E. in the postoperative period from 6 months was studied. up to 1 year after knee arthroplasty. With the help of a computer model, the changes in biomechanics in the knee joint, the load on the components of the knee joint endoprosthesis during the correction of axial deformations were studied. Using histomorphometry, the condition of the bone tissue of the articular ends of the knee joint in RA patients in the late stages was studied. Osteogenic activity, immunological and microbiological changes in this category of patients were studied. The necessity of using an extender of the tibial component of the endoprosthesis in multi-plane deformations of the knee joint in patients with RA has been proven. The developed system of postoperative rehabilitation of RA patients with axial deformations is presented.
