The purpose of the work is to develop a scientific report with an analysis of special literature, legal acts and expert practice regarding the expert study of the level of mental development of minors in conflict with the law and the creation of a methodology for forensic psychological examination of minor suspects (accused). Research methods are general scientific (dialectical, comparative analysis, systematization and generalization, description, statistical methods), separate psychological, special methods (methods) of forensic psychological examination. Theoretical and practical results - the results of this work should be implemented in the expert practice of the National Research Institute of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and during the training of specialists in specialty 14.1 "Psychological research", evaluation of the conclusion of a forensic expert.
