Purpose: to develop and substantiate new methods of surgical treatment of patients with pelvic bone tumors with lesions of the acetabulum in order to improve treatment results. Methods: analytical, patent-informational, statistical, mathematical modeling method, clinical, radiological, patent-informational. Theoretical and practical results: The criteria for the assessment of pelvic bone lesions were identified: type of destruction, direction of spread of the extraosseous component of the tumor, degree of invasion of main vascular structures, damage to adjacent joints. Mathematical skeletal-muscular models of the pelvis and lower limbs were created with the reproduction of the post-resection defect of the periacetabular part of the pelvic bones. A technique for preoperative planning of resection levels of pelvic bones in case of tumor lesions based on computed tomography studies has been developed to ensure better oncological results of surgical treatment. Novelty: A new method of reconstruction of the acetabular part of the pelvic bones was created and its clinical approval was carried out. The main complications and peculiarities of operative interventions in the case of using different methods of resections were revealed. Effectiveness of implementation: The obtained new knowledge is of great importance during the wartime period, especially for patients, including those with the consequences of injuries in the form of pelvic bone defects. Based on the obtained theoretical data and results, it is possible to improve existing treatment methods, sets of rehabilitation measures, and develop more effective new treatment methods for patients with pelvic bone tumors and pelvic bone defects of other etiology, which will make it possible to improve the level of functional results.
