The aim of the study is to establish pathogenetic links between the nature of changes in the structural organization of the myocardium and deformation of the heart muscle and the levels of key diagnostic markers of geometric remodeling of the heart, to develop early prognostic criteria for pathological myocardial remodeling and to optimize the therapeutic antihypertensive complex. Research methods: the latest instrumental (non-invasive determination of blood pressure in rats); morpho-densitometric (calculation of the area of cardiomyocyte nuclei and RNA content), immunohistochemical (study of the expression of markers of myocardial remodeling: type I collagen, cardiotrophin-1, taitin and anexin V) and statistical analysis. Results of the research and their novelty. The etiopathogenetic patterns of formation of pathological remodeling of the left ventricular myocardium in arterial hypertension were investigated. The morpho-densitometric parameters of cardiomyocytes in different models of sustained elevation of blood pressure were evaluated and compared. The nature of the ratio of myocardial remodeling markers (type 1 collagen, taitin, cardiotrophin and anexin V) in different etiopathogenetic variants of hypertension was determined. The characteristics of titin/collagen ratio and pathomorphologic types of cardiac muscle remodeling were characterized. Experimental achievements have given grounds to elucidate the main etiopathogenic characteristics of the left ventricular myocardium during remodeling in hypertension.
