For the first time, an interdisciplinary approach was used to study the emotional burnout of combatants, which involved the study of the psychological, clinical, psychophysiological and neurophysiological components. For the first time, a methodology for determining markers of emotional burnout of combatants was proposed. For the first time, a conceptual apparatus for markers of mental states was defined, namely: psychological markers, clinical markers, psychophysiological markers, neurophysiological markers. For the first time, markers of emotional burnout were identified in accordance with the defined directions of the interdisciplinary approach and their classification was proposed. For the first time, indicators that can be characterized as long-term consequences of emotional burnout were identified. For the first time, a methodology for restoring the mental states of combatants with manifestations of emotional burnout was proposed, which has its own specifics and was developed on the basis of the empirical results of the study.
