The spread of diseases on plants of the genus Clematis was monitored, pathogens were isolated in culture and their species composition was determined. It was established that leaf spot (Alternaria, Pestalotia) and rust dominated among leaf diseases. Powdery mildew, fusarium, and rhizoctonia diseases were also detected. They require control of their spread, since under favorable conditions for their development they can cause damage to plants and loss of their decorativeness
