An analytical overview is given of the features of information systems and technologies for accounting and analytical support for business entities, their historical formation and use in practice. The purpose of the study is to develop, develop and improve theoretical and methodological, organizational and methodological provisions for the formation of accounting and analytical support for management of business entities in the conditions of digitalization of the economy. The object of the study is the tools of accounting communications, accounting information space as an information basis for management. The subject of the study is a set of theoretical and methodological, organizational and methodological provisions for the formation of accounting information space for information communication in the field of enterprise strategy. When performing the research tasks, the following general scientific and special methods of studying processes and phenomena are used, namely: abstract-logical method (when determining the goal and objectives of the work); algorithmization (to determine materiality for the purposes of accounting and analytical support; bibliographic and bibliometric analysis (when studying the digital format of XBRL financial reporting); comparison (when comparing domestic and foreign practices in the formation of accounting and analytical support for management; historical method (to study the genesis of the formation and formation of accounting and reporting information for different groups of users); operational approach (to clarify the economic essence of terminology and definitions, which are key in determining the content of accounting and analytical support for business entities); logical generalization (to formulate conclusions based on the results).
