A comprehensive examination (ultrasound, endoscopic, morphological, cytological and microbiological studies) was performed on 90 women with different morphotypes of endometrial hyperplasia and 60 women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (dysplasia), which also included endometrial and cervical biopsy for histological and immunohistochemical studies using monoclonal intracellular probes for estrogen and progesterone receptors, Ki-67 protein, cyclin kinase-dependent Cdk D1, p21 and p63 genes, E-cadherin and beta-catenin glycoproteins, and COX-2.
