The project includes a multidisciplinary team of agronomists, economists, ecologists, GIS analysts, which will allow objectively assessing all components of the transition to organic production processes. During the 1st stage, a SWOT analysis of the advantages and challenges associated with the transition to organic agriculture was carried out, the nature of the impact of resource and production factors on the efficiency of organic production processes and environmental sustainability was formalized, an extended analysis of the use of geographic information systems in agriculture was provided, and methodological recommendations on the use of basic GIS tools in agriculture were developed. In addition, a SWOT analysis of the main tools and software for collecting, processing and analyzing geodata, as well as online services for geoinformation and satellite monitoring of agriculture, is presented. Part of the developments were included in the Program for the Comprehensive Restoration of the Zhytomyr Region for 2024–2030.
