The work was carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine dated June 27, 2025, No. 314 “On the results of the competition for scientific and research works of young scientists of the NAS of Ukraine for 2025–2026”, and the approved list of winners of the competition. The object of the study is landslide-prone areas of the gully–beam systems of the city of Kyiv. The subject of the study is the prerequisites for the activation of landslide-prone areas and the determination of landslide risk levels. The report presents general scientific results obtained within the framework of the project implementation in 2025. Based on the research results, for the first stage of research project a retrospective analysis of the state of landslide-prone areas was conducted, a Sentinel-1 satellite radar data database was developed, and the key prerequisites for landslide activation and the most hazardous areas within the city of Kyiv were identified. Potential users of the project results include district and city administrations, territorial communities, and construction companies operating in the studied area. The obtained results may also serve as a basis for the development of engineering slope protection measures, urban planning with consideration of natural risks, as well as the implementation of a continuous monitoring system for landslide-prone areas with the use of geoinformation and remote sensing technologies.
