research findings on post-traumatic stress disorder and the specific features of its manifestation among combatants, the study analyzes the works of Ukrainian and foreign scholars representing various fields of knowledge and practical activity.
An analysis was conducted of Ukraine’s normative and legal documents in the field of socio-psychological rehabilitation of vulnerable categories of citizens, as well as in the areas of mental health support, rehabilitation, and healthcare. Legislation governing animal protection, sanitary and hygienic standards for communication with animals, and the prevention of infectious disease transmission was also examined.
Researchers of the R&D project developed a draft professional standard for the occupation of canine-assisted therapist and a draft state standard for the social service “Socio-Psychological Rehabilitation by Means of Canis Therapy.”
