Subject of the study: hydrographic features, ecological condition, and resilience of the water bodies in the Zhytomyr Region. Purpose of the research work: to determine the hydrographic characteristics, current ecological state, and resilience of selected surface water bodies in the Zhytomyr Region for further use by ECO-MB LLC. During the research, the hydrographic network of the Zhytomyr Region was analyzed, an assessment of the current ecological condition of the water bodies was provided, the main sources of anthropogenic impact were identified, and problematic areas requiring priority measures to improve environmental conditions were determined. Factors influencing the resilience of aquatic ecosystems were identified, and scientifically grounded recommendations for improving the ecological state and strengthening the resilience of water bodies were developed. The research work was carried out at the request of ECO-MB LLC, and therefore the results are used in the practical economic activities of the commissioning enterprise.
