For the first time: the VUE/e-VUE is conceptualized as a multilevel knowledge infrastructure with academic, educational, cultural and security functions; it is shown that the wartime conditions need a holistic architecture of a Ukrainian-centric knowledge resource. The "modus" model of the VUE system architecture is analytically developed (theoretical, methodological, semantic, contextual, technological, technical, temporal modes). The temporal mode became a system-forming factor of architectural transformations of e-VUE in reality of long war and cognitive threats, which requires special adaptation of the encyclopaedic resource. A gap is identified between scientific models of periodization of the Russian-Ukrainian war and their encyclopaedic representation in the information space. Have been improved: approaches to the analysis of the architectonics of VUE as a multilevel system (from dictionary policy to multimedia and semantic navigation) along with the identification of achievements and problem zones. Principles of categorical organization and navigation design of e-VUE, ways to optimize its content and hypertext structure. Further development: an idea of the strategic transition of e-VUE from a hypertext model to an integrated semantic knowledge hub (ontological models, multidimensional navigation, interactive maps, etc.). Methodological principles of controlled application of generative AI for e-VUE (support of semantic markup, identification of gaps in the net-connections, auxiliary analytical materials) while unconditionally preserving the leading role of editorial control.
