SCIENTIFIC AND INFORMATION ACTIVITY, SCIENTIFIC (SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL) INFORMATION, DIGITALISATION, AUTOMATED SYSTEM OF THE SCIENTIFIC (SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL) INFORMATION EXCHANGE, INFORMATION SUPPORT, DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES
Research object – the functioning of the scientific and information activity (SIA) system in the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (MDU).
R&D purpose – to increase the SIA system functioning efficiency in the MDU.
Research methods: systems analysis and synthesis, expert evaluation, and comparative analysis.
As a result of the R&D implementation:
International and national practices analysis concerning the implementation of information technologies within the SIA was conducted;
Main SIA areas in the MDU requiring digitalisation were identified;
Recommendations for the SIA digitalisation in the MDU were substantiated.
Scientific novelty of the R&D consists in the development of recommendations aimed at the scientific-theoretical and scientific-technical improvement of the SIA system functioning in the MDU.
Key indicators – the indicators related to the objectives of the digitalisation of the SIA in the MDU.
Practical significance: the results of the R&D are advisable for use in improving the SIA in the MDU by the process digitalisation.
The R&D constitutes the continuation of the cycle of studies carried out in the R&D projects coded “Consensus”, “Potrеba–SSTI”, “Slidopyt”, “Structure-M”, and “STI System”, OT “MSI Exchange” and “Mеrеzha”, which address SIA issues within the AFU and propose rеlеvant improvement in the identified areas.
Field of application – the SIA in the MDU system.
Еconomic efficiency – the obtained results will improve the SIA quality and timeliness, reducing the financial costs.
Research significance – the research findings will facilitate the SIA development in the MDU system.
SIA development should consider the obtained results.
