popup.description1
Development of a methodological and methodical basis for ensuring cross-border energy security to increase the competitiveness of the supply of renewable energy to neighboring countries, overcome strategic energy dependence, protect against cascading physical, digital and hybrid energy threats in the conditions of military operations and post-war recovery
popup.description2
The aim of the project is to develop a methodological foundation for ensuring cross-border energy security, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of renewable energy supply to neighbouring countries, overcoming strategic energy dependence, and protecting against physical, digital, and hybrid energy threats under wartime conditions and during post-war recovery. The object of the study is the system of socio-ecological-economic relations that arise in the process of ensuring cross-border energy security under wartime and post-war recovery conditions. Research methods: scenario analysis, index and structural analysis, econometric modelling (panel data, regression analysis), predictive modelling of energy consumption, and multifactor analysis. Key results of the stage include: а methodology for studying medium-term security of supply and the transition to decarbonized cross-border energy systems, enabling comprehensive assessment of energy market vulnerabilities, identification of critical risk points, modeling of energy balance development scenarios, and designing optimal pathways for integrating renewable energy sources into existing infrastructure; а methodological approach to assessing the sustainable energy transition, which allows determining the dynamics of transformational changes, comparing policy effectiveness across countries, identifying structural imbalances, and formulating recommendations for strategic planning and improving energy policy; а comprehensive econometric model that integrates economic, technological, and energy factors to assess the impact of industry activities on electricity consumption, taking into account the level of renewable energy deployment. This model makes it possible to identify key drivers of change, forecast future trends, and develop well-justified recommendations for energy policy; а conceptual model of the intelligent transformation of the energy sector, combining production, technological, and market determinants of its deve
