popup.description1
The project aims to determine regularities of geodynamic processes of the stress-strain state of the massif and develop state-of-the-art measures for their stabilizing during implementation of a high-technology strategy for underground and combined mining of uranium ores
popup.description2
Research Object. The object of the research is the processes of geodynamic stabilization of the rock massif, taking into account its stress-strain state during the development of a proactive strategy for the technological development of uranium mines and the implementation of state-of-the-art world-class technological solutions for uranium mining in the wartime and post-war periods. Aim of the R&D (Research and Development). The R&D aims to determine patterns and develop state-of-the-art measures for stabilizing geodynamic processes within the rock massif stress-strain state during the implementation of a high-tech strategy for underground and combined uranium ore mining.Research Methods. To achieve the stated objective, a comprehensive research method was utilized, which includes the analysis and generalization of literature sources regarding global and national experience in uranium mine development; the theory of experiment design; the theory of elasticity; the finite element method (FEM); simulation of exposure stability through mathematical modeling; statistical theory; and multivariate analysis.Results. Mathematical models for determining the rock massif stress-strain state and the stability of technological elements in underground structures through mathematical modeling have been substantiated and developed. New correlations between rock strength and rock massif stability under the influence of acid solutions during block-strip uranium leaching technologies have been established.
