The project is aimed at assessing the impact of these processes on the state of the Dnipro and Tysa river basins and the functioning of infrastructure facilities in order to identify risks and develop preventive measures. popup.description2 Regional and local predictive models of hazardous exogenous geological processes (HEGP) have been developed that take into account current natural factors (geological, structural-tectonic, geomorphological, hydrological and climatic) as well as factors resulting from military action. These models are based on GIS projects created for the Tysa and Dnipro river basins using radar interferometry data, remote sensing (RS), field geological observations and geoinformation analysis. Maps were constructed showing the NDVI, MI, SPI and TWI indices, which made it possible to determine the spatial differentiation of territories according to the level of landslide activity. Hybrid machine learning algorithms (XGBoost and logistic regression) were tested for the first time in the Tysa River basin to improve the accuracy of modelling areas susceptible to landslides in complex mountainous terrain. These results have been integrated into the international scientific project, 'LOC3G: Localisation in Geophysics, Geohazards and Geoengineering', funded by the Horizon EU programme, and can be scaled up to other regions of Ukraine.
