Development of low-carbon nanotechnologically optimized high-strength concrete for the accelerated construction of protective fortification structures and civil defense shelters with increased resistance to various types of force influences, including shock loads.
popup.description2
Low-carbon, nanotechnology-optimized, high-strength self-compacting and fiber-reinforced concretes have been developed for the accelerated construction of protective and fortification structures. Low-carbon self-compacting high-strength concretes of strength class C55/67 have been designed according to the criteria of consistency, viscosity, and mobility in accordance with DSTU EN 206:2022 with improved operational properties. Effective low-carbon fiber-reinforced concretes of strength classes C55/67...C60/75 with impact toughness of 75.7...92.5 J/cm² were obtained. The improved performance properties of low-carbon concretes are achieved through multiscale modeling of the cementitious matrix of concretes at different structural levels and a comprehensive nanotechnological approach using multi-walled nanotubes and C-S-H-PCE nanocomposites with the formation of a multi-level core –shell structure, which contributes to the improvement of the ITZ contact zone and ensures high early strength (fct16h = 43.8 MPa). The comprehensive combination of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and C-S-H-PCE nanocomposite in concrete (C = 390 kg/m3) resulted in low-carbon fast-setting (fcm2/fcm28 = 0.68) and high-strength (strength class C70/85) fiber-reinforced concretes in accordance with DSTU EN 206:2022 with improved operational and protective properties. The structural load-bearing elements were calculated for explosion impact in the Lira-CAD program, taking into account the requirements of Ukrainian state standards. New approaches have been developed for the design of civil defense buildings and structures to ensure their operational reliability and resistance to explosion impacts in conditions of martial law. Low-carbon concrete was used to manufacture a batch of reinforced concrete elements for a platoon strongpoint and concrete structural elements of PZ-1 type barricade pyramids to strengthen defensive lines and increase the effectiveness of countering armored.
