Study of the stress-strain state of materials and bodies with initial stresses and thin-walled members of non-circular cross-section structures under the action of static and dynamic loads, including: problems formulation; development of linear and non-linear theories; development of methods, algorithms, programs; solving specific classes of problems for prestressed bodies and thin-walled members of cylindrical structures with oval and elliptical cross sections; analysis of the obtained results and identification of regularities of static and dynamic processes in these bodies and structural members.

The study was conducted within the framework of the linearized theory of elas-ticity for bodies with initial stresses. In the Fourier image space, analytical so-lutions were obtained in general form for stable and incompressible materials with free elastic potential. On the basis of the results obtained, numerical stud-ies of the influence of initial stresses and the speed of stress movement on the stress-strain state of an elastic base with a protective coating were conducted.
