The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for ensuring the safety of mining operations during the ventilation of dead-end workings and the development of excavation sections of the mines named after Heroes of Space and "Pavlogradskaya" PSU «MINE MANAGEMENT named after Heroes of Space" PJSC "DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA". Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining characteristics and ventilation schemes of dead-end workings and excavation sections of the mines named after Heroes of Space and "Pavlogradskaya" PSU «MINE MANAGEMENT named after Heroes of Space" PJSC "DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA" were analyzed. Recommendations have been developed to ensure dust and gas safety during dead-end mining and mining of excavation sections 1010-M and 1024 of the Heroes of Space and Pavlogradskaya mines. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, the safety of mining operations will be increased, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
