In modern environment 7% of Kharkov residents have a risk to be suffering of cancer to the end of the life. The haritability of cancer is 45-53%, environmental component is 47-55%. The genetic control of the predisposition to cancer is polygenic system. The genetic predisposition to different forms of cancer is common more than 70%. The industry contamination increases the frequency of cancer, but there is no specific effect on cancer localization. The haritability of age manifestation of cancer is 85%.
