Work purpose - the technology development of vibrocast corundum refractories for hightemperature reactors for the manufacture of technical carbon .Research methods - chemical. petrographical, physicomechanical.Research on the development of dense corundum refractories using a vibrocasting on the basis of tabular corundum, of fused corundum of Ukrniio and of different types of alumina has been carried out. It was shown that using a lamellar corundum of different fractions and alumina ГК and a firing of products at temperature 1750 C refractories were produced with a low open porosity ( lesser than 15%). Their high resistance against reducing atmosphere at 1750 C was evidenced. Constructions of forms were worked - out, forms were produced and 17 standard sizes of intricately shaped products were cast. Mechanical processing of products was carried out as well as control assemblage was realized. Trial lotsof products for reactors for the manufacture of technical carbon, tuyere blocks for shaft furnaces intended for metallization of pellets, muffles with 2 covers for analyzers of sulfur and carbon, connecting rings for cryptol furnaces were produced. The work should be continued for the purpose of working out new products for an employment in reducing conditions as well as for the purpose of mounting of trial lots of intricately shaped cast blocks into a reactor and observing of their service.
