Object of research: The social, ethnical and political consolidation of Ukrainian society. Subject of research: The communicative mechanisms of social, ethnical and political consolidation of Ukrainian society. Purpose of work: to determine and analyze basic directions of modern Ukrainian society consolidation in the aspect of development proper communicative mechanisms. Research methods: critical analysis of scientific literature, legislative base from the problems of social consolidation and secondary analysis of sociology research data. The analysis of scientific publications and sociology research data has been made. Results of Science and Research work - the analysis of modern Ukrainian society consolidation basic directions, the theoretical work with the purpose of theory-methodological bases of ethnical and political consolidation research development is made. The conceptual approaches to the study of public organizationsas active participants and mediators in the processes of national consolidation, legislative providing and features of co-operation of modern Ukrainian state with institutes of civil society are considered. The contradictory role of international organizations in ethnical and political consolidation in theory-methodological and practical aspects (at the example of problem of Crimean Tatars) and social tolerance in relation to migrants as a factor of consolidation are analyzed. The possibilities of modern informative and communicative technologies in the processes of political consolidation and the role of traditional mass-media in the processes of ethnical and political consolidation are critically analyzed. The special attention was given to the legal providing of mass-media activity in this sphere. The consolidating role of sport in a social and cultural aspect is analyzed. Results of Science and Research work may be used by at following development of scientific positions of the study the problem of Ukrainian society consolidation, in the improvement of social communication mechanisms that will be helpful in distribution of consolidation practices both in Ukraine and in regions; in optimization of legislative base, that provides social consent in a country and region; in mass-media propaganda of consent in society; in the use of communicative technologies in the work of public authorities and local self-government. The data received as a result of research may be a basis for development and introduction of the special educational course "Social communications as the factor of development of civil society" for specialists in sociology, education, psychology, social work, state management.
