Objective: Vacuum - plasma reception methods technological chart working out of nanolayered composite coatings taking into account demands to coatings depending of their functional prescription and substrate geometry. Investigation method: Analysis and generalization of experimental and theoretical explorations of vacuum - plasma reception methods of nanostructured composite coatings and deposition mode influence onto their properties. Nanostructures forming experimental investigation under different technological charts utilizing vacuum-arc deposition method. On the base of the general analysis of the demands to nanostructured coatings forming demands to technology of nanostructured coatings forming depending of their functional prescription, in particular, hardening superhard, wear-proof and antifriction were formulated. Were suggested main technological charts for nanostructured coatingdeposition and their variation depending on substrate types (moving or fixed), nanostructured coating composition and applications peculiarities of such charts taking into account necessity of coatings properties. Utilizing proposed technological charts were obtained nanolayered coatings with different composition and construction for properties investigation, in particular, tribological properties in different tribological pairs and clarification such coatings application as wear proof and antifriction coatings. Proposed technological charts of nanostructures forming taking into account demands to coatings depending of their functional prescription and substrate geometry found physical base for nanotechnology development of nanostructured functional coatings deposition. R&D results are used in technological development and the further researches directed on creation new functional nanostructured materials and methods of their formation. Predictive assumptions concerning development of researching object - optimization of processes of reception nanocoatings with prescribed set of characteristics formation process optimization.
