А.С.Макаренка Description The article is devoted to the philosophical analysis of a process of formation and development of science as a form of social existence. Having focused attention on the main stages of this process, the author comes to the conclusion that science is not knowledge itself but the activity of society aimed at the production of knowledge, t.i. scientific production. Статья посвящена философскому анализу процесса становления и развития науки как формы общественного бытия. Сконцентрировав внимание на главных этапах этого процесса, автор приходит к выводу, что наука – это не знания сами по себе, а деятельность общества по производству знаний, то есть научное производство.
