Питання соціального сирітства має не тільки соціальне вираження, але й світоглядний зміст, оскільки прямо пов’язане з діяльнісним аспектом суспільного буття. Аналізуються негативні наслідки тривалого розриву сімейних зв’язків, особливості соціалізації соціальних сиріт, формування їх світогляду і системи цінностей. The article deals with the problem of social orphanhood, which is related to the labor migration of Ukrainians. The issue of social orphanhood has not only social but also an ideological context because it is directly related to the activity aspect of social life. The article deals with the interpretation of the concepts of “social orphanhood”, “migration orphanhood”, “euro-orphanhood”, “children deprived of parental care”, “homelessness” in the legal and general-scientific context. The problem of socialization of a child whose parents are at a certain time at work abroad has a particular importance: how is the personality of social orphans formed, what factors influence its formation? The negative consequences of a long break in family ties, peculiarities of the development of social orphans, the formation of their outlook and value system are analyzed.
