Оборотні активи є основним джерелом фінансування операційної діяльності підприємств, вони впливають на рівень ліквідності, платоспроможності та фінансової стабільності. Метою дослідження є всебічний аналіз ефективності використання оборотних активів підприємства для виявлення шляхів їх оптимізації, підвищення ліквідності та рентабельності. Предмет дослідження – це система економічних відносин в сфері використання оборотних активів підприємства. У роботі розглядаються економічна сутність, склад і структура оборотних активів, надається сучасне трактування господарської ролі оборотних активів у фінансовій літературі, методичні аспекти визначення потреби підприємства в оборотних активах та ефективності їх використання, розглянуто сучасний стан та основні тенденції розвитку оборотних активів підприємства, проведено комплексну оцінку фінансового стану підприємства, здійснено прогноз потреби в оборотному капіталі та джерел його формування, запропоновано методологічні та методичні підходи до нормування й оптимізації розміру оборотних активів підприємства. Пропозиції та рекомендації роботи надають підприємствам можливість нормування та оптимізації розміру оборотних активів та прогнозування їх потреби. In today's conditions of global instability, the impact of economic crises and increased competition, enterprises are faced with the need to optimize their activities, in particular, the management of current assets. Current assets are the main source of financing the operational activities of enterprises, they affect the level of liquidity, solvency and financial stability. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of the efficiency of using the company's current assets to identify ways to optimize them, increase liquidity and profitability. The subject of the study is the system of economic relations in the sphere of the use of current assets of the enterprise. The work examines the economic essence, composition and structure of current assets, provides a modern interpretation of the economic role of current assets in the financial literature, methodical aspects of determining the company's need for current assets and the efficiency of their use, examines the current state and main trends in the development of current assets of the company, conducts a comprehensive assessment the financial state of the enterprise, the forecast of the need for working capital and sources of its formation was made, methodological and methodical approaches to the normalization and optimization of the size of the enterprise's current assets were proposed.
