popup.description2
The working hypothesis that models of regional identifications in different social and cultural spheres do not shape a map with clear cut borders, and rather overlap or shape separate "islands", was proved. A similar social attitudes and loyalties, and group identities were found in distant regions and opposit practices and values in regions which were viewed as homogeneous. At the same time threre is a visible difference in transnational aspirations and attitudes towards future development of Ukraine among inhabitants of different regions of Ukraine. There two main dividing lines West-East, and Europe- Eurasia.
