The main purpose of the planned scientific research is to find ways to improve the structural perfection of nanocrystalline chalcogenide materials such as Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) to increase the efficiency of their use in solar photoelectric cells. First of all, these compounds are characterized by a high concentration of their own structural defects related to cationic vacancies and antisite defects like CuZn and ZnCu, as well as the possible inclusions of secondary phases of binary and ternary chalcogenides such as CuS, ZnS, Cu2SnS etc.
