Study of various groups of microorganisms of Antarctic moss communities (Polytrichum strictum, Sanionia georgicouncinata, Warnstrofia fontinaliopsis, Pohlia nutans, Andreaea depresinervis, Chorisodontium aciphillum, Ceratodon purpureus) and Deschampsia antarctica, isolation of pure cultures and determination of their physiological and biochemical properties, ability to synthesis of biologically active substances and mobilization of phosphorus and ferrum compounds, nitrogen fixation and molecular genetic characteristic of strains, as well as determination of prooxidant and antioxidant indicators of separate strains of bacteria under the influence of heavy metal compounds. According to the results of the work, it is planned to deposit 2 strains of microorganisms in the Depository of microorganisms of the D. K. Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the NAS of Ukraine.
