The laboratory patterns of photosensitive structures, detectors of ionizing radiation, photovoltaic devices and gas sensors were designed and fabricated on the basis of the materials under consideration; the main electrical properties of the materials and the devices based on them were investigated in detail depending on the technological conditions. There were designed physical models of the response of the oxide and chalcogenide semiconductors and structures based on them; the recommendations were introduced regarding the possibilities of the application of the semiconductors under consideration as working elements in electronic devices.
