Methods of research - analysis, synthesis, organization, etc. Results and novelty: the analysis of theoretical principles and practice of institutional reforms (including in public finance) with the experience of foreign countries; revealed features of the methods of project management in implementing institutional reforms (including in public finance); proposals to implement project management methods in public finance in order to realize the objectives set out program of economic reforms for 2010-2014. The results will be used in the preparation of regulations and policy documents for the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
