Object of research - the methods of project management of public finances in the implementation of institutional reforms. Purpose - to analyze the theory and practice of institutional reform and project management with the experience of foreign countries and use the results to justify the proposals for the introduction of methods of project management of public finances. Methods of research - analysis, synthesis, organization, etc. Results and novelty: the analysis of theoretical principles and practice of institutional reforms (including in public finance) with the experience of foreign countries; revealed features of the methods of project management in implementing institutional reforms (including in public finance); proposals to implement project management methods in public finance in order to realize the objectives set out program of economic reforms for 2010-2014. The results will be used in the preparation of regulations and policy documents for the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
