Theoretical aspects of developing the problem of dialect phraseography have been carried out during the research period. A specific attention has been paid to the semantic structure of phraseological units which components need to be represented thoroughly in the dictionary entry. The issues of interpreting the phraseological meaning, organizing the classification procedure of the material and its further systematization, working out definitive characteristics and outlining main principles of explication along with the dialect phraseological units' cultural semantics have been emphasized. The results of the research helped to define the basic aspects of representing the dialect phraseological units in the dictionary. The novelty of the research is seen in analyzing the most actual scientific works in the field of phraseography, developing new approaches in order to represent fixed phrases in the dictionary for the better and more profound study of the semantic structure of phraseological units, their connotation, etymology, grammar chains, etc. The practical result of the research is defined in the profound study of the semantic structure of the phraseological units and further development on the basis of the newly suggested conceptions to create not only the phraseological dictionaries but also some specific works in lexicography with the ethnic and cultural comments and broad usage of remark and different contexts.
