Aim of the study - the linguistic (Ukrainian- and foreign-language) competence which is an important component of the physician's personality. The results of treatment are essentially depended on the art of native communication. That is why the doctor should know the culture of the native language: that is in accordance with the terms and aims of communication be able to choose stylistic means and methods, reflecting a psycho-cultural context.
