Objects of research - fuel efficiency , environmental and energy performance of engines. Purpose of research - to improve fuel efficiency and environmental performance of engines by using the alternative fuels, by disconnecting the part of cylinders, by selection the rational ratio between hydrogen and standard fuel. Research methods - calculation - theoretical and experimental . The researches has been carried out in 2013 according the fields, which gave the following results: The analysis of the using the biogas as a motor fuel has shown that the most rational in Ukraine is the use of it in mixtures with the traditional fuels . The mathematical model of the automatic adjustment system with the all-regime regulator has been specified. The processes in diesel 4CHN12/14 and gas engine 8CH13/14 with appropriate settings of Heinzmann electronic controls has been researched. The ways for reducing of toxicity and improving the fuel efficiency of gasoline engines at low loads and idling regimes by addition of hydrogen has been analyzed. The calculation of the intensity formation of nitrogen oxides in the cylinder 6CH9.5/6.98 engine at combined method of power control gasoline engine with injection system and feedback connecting and with exhaust gas recirculation and without it.
