Object of research: processes of organization of scientific research in the interests of the military education system. The purpose of the research work: to determine the mechanisms of the construction, functioning and development of a system of scientific support for military education that would meet European standards. The system approach and general scientific methods of research are used in the work, namely: qualitative description, expert evaluation, observation, abstraction, idealization, formalization, comparison. The report substantiates the option of a promising system of scientific support for the functioning and development of military education. Main results: for the first time the term "scientific support of the functioning and development of the military education system" was grounded, the model of the determined process was constructed, the perspective structure of the system, which should implement this type of provision of military education, and the mechanisms of its construction, functioning and development were determined; The draft Concept of scientific support for the functioning and development of the military education system, proposals for the draft Concept of military education and changes in the provisions of the current normative and legal base of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been developed. The developed system, due to optimization of the order processes, the performance of scientific research and the implementation of their results in the military education system will ensure the quality of the missions of these systems and the efficiency of the use of available resources.
