According to the lowest affinity for recombinant arginase of human 1 in silico, two heterocyclic analogues of arginine are selected. Both compounds are synthesized and purified, their structure and elemental composition are confirmed. Successfully completed the initial stages of synthesis of the analogue of arginine of plant origin, indospicin. It has been confirmed that both commercial (canavanine, homoarginine, thioarginine) and newly synthesized arginine analogues are nontoxic for tumor cells in the arginine-containing medium. It was shown that among the investigated analogues compounds with the affinity for arginyl tRNA (сanavanine and thioarginine) are cytotoxic under arginine deficiency.5481
