Object of investigation: professional and pedagogical training of future physical culture teachers in the educational process of the institution of higher education to physical culture and wellness, sports-mass and healthcare professional activities with different groups of the population. Aim of investigation: the purpose of the investigation was the theoretical substantiation of the content, forms and methods and pedagogical conditions for the training of future physical culture teachers for physical culture and wellness, sports-mass and healthcare professional activities with different groups of the population. Methods of investigation: systematic analysis of scientific literature on problems of professional and pedagogical training of future physical culture teachers; theoretical modeling - with an aim of developing a model for the training of future physical culture teachers for physical culture and wellness, sports-mass and healthcare professional activities with different groups of the population; empirical: diagnostic; observing the educational process; praximetry: pedagogical experiment. Theoretical and practical results: approaches to improving professional training in the field of physical education are disclosed. Diagnostic tools are developed; also a complex of teaching and methodological support are develope. Novelty: the structural-component composition of the training is determined; criterions; levels of preparedness; pedagogical conditions; a model of training was developed; the method of training of future physical culture teachers for physical culture and wellness, sports-mass and healthcare professional activities with different groups of the population was developed. Efficiency of introduction: is ensured by the depth of the original methodological positions; usage of a complex of research methods, adequate to its object, purpose, task and logic; the representativeness of the sample volume and the statistical significance of the experimental data. Scope of use: the results of research can be used in the practice of training future physical culture teachers in the development of programs and manuals in physical education and sports.
