The purpose of the work is to study information and communication technologies in the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign and Ukrainian language as the second foreign language under the conditions of the modern paradigm of training, and to reveal the direct dependence of the result of language learning on the use of modern information technologies. The object of research - innovative forms, methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language and Ukrainian as the second foreign language, which ensure the achievement of a new level of language proficiency. The subject of research - new priorities in the field of speech education, relevant techniques and technologies that stimulate interdependent communicative (speech), socio-cultural and cognitive (cognitive-intellectual) students' development. The main tasks of the research: to investigate the role of self-control and self-assessment in the process of formation of students' foreign communication skills; to consider the grammatical and communicative minimum in the course of the Ukrainian language as the second foreign language; to analyze the ethno-oriented model of linguocultural adaptation of foreign students to the multicultural educational environment; study the process of socialization of foreign students in the educational and cultural environment of a higher educational establishment. Relevance and expediency of research - in the conditions of a new modern paradigm of teaching teachers and methodologists are looking for reserves to improve the quality and effectiveness of training, ways to intensify it. The research results are implemented in educational and methodological developments, manuals and implemented in the process of studying foreign students.
