Description

The object of research - the methodology of students' linguistic competence formation at non-linguistic higher educational institutions at different stages of foreign language studies. The purpose of the work is to analyze the existing methods of linguistic competence development and to create on the basis of the research the system of exercises for the teaching of English terminological vocabulary and grammar for the students of non-linguistic higher educational institutions. Methods of research - dialectical, logical, general scientific, searching, method of analysis and synthesis. The existing methods of linguistic competence development at non-linguistic higher educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad were analyzed; methods and means of its formation were studied at different stages of education; systematized the results of the research; a system of exercises for the teaching of English terminological vocabulary and grammar was developed. All this became the basis for "Practical Training Book to Teaching Various Types of Linguistic Competencies of the Non-linguistic Higher School Students at Different Stages of Foreign Language Studies". The area of usage is P 85.42 Higher education.
