The preconditions and necessity of introduction of international standards of financial reporting in the accounting system of Ukraine are considered. The options for implementing IFRS are defined by individual countries. The work of national regulators of the accounting and classification of actions of national regulators is analyzed, depending on the version of the implementation of the IFRS. The approaches to the convergence of accounting systems are determined. The methodical approaches to the transformation of financial statements in accordance with the requirements of IFRS are determined. The system of external and internal audit, oriented on requirements of international practice is offered. The concept of internal audit of economic entities was developed and the factors of trust in internal audit were determined. The options for implementing the functions of internal audit during the transition to ISA and IFRS are determined.
