A number of management principles and methods have been developed, the ability to use control methods based on a reference model and modal control on impulse processes in cognitive maps has been demonstrated. A number of methods have been developed that allow the identification of the weights of edges of cognitive maps in different cases. In particular, when measuring all coordinates of the vertices of cognitive maps, an identification technique was developed based on a combinatorial method, a least squares method, and a regularization method. In the case of incomplete measurements, an identification method was developed based on the allocated subspace method. The problem of robust control of impulse process of cognitive maps in the case when the system is affected by both external perturbations in the form of unmeasured coordinates and measurement noise, as well as internal perturbations in the form of the difference between true and identified coefficients of edges of cognitive maps. In this case, a control law was developed based on the method of invariant ellipsoids. All the results have been tested on several real cognitive maps of dynamic systems, including the example of a cognitive map of IT company.
