The goal is to identify the characteristic trends in the formation of the terminological system of the cybersecurity industry, taking into account the features and approaches specified in linguistic and professional works on information security; to explore new English borrowings in modern Ukrainian economic terminology, to identify the main thematic groups of Anglicisms, to establish productive models for the formation of economic terms; to find out the place and role of borrowing in modern Ukrainian economic terminology, to describe the functional features of borrowed professional names in the economic term system; on the material of the media to conduct an analysis of Anglicisms and investigate the functions realized by them in the Ukrainian economic discourse; to analyze the problems of translation of commonly used terms in the information and economic space, to unify the translation of the studied words in the process of software Ukrainization.
Object of research is modern multi-genre texts of scientific and journalistic styles of speech; terminological units of the cybersecurity industry and individual terms of computer science and information technology; socio-economic and scientific and technical terminology of the Ukrainian language; Ukrainian-language software, Internet resources developed by both Ukrainian and foreign experts.
Subject of research is journalistic and economic texts, special and terminological vocabulary; dictionaries of the Ukrainian language of the late XIX - early XXI century.
The scientific novelty of the proposed study is manifested in determining the conditionand and status of the terminological system of cybersecurity, the formulation of the criteria for its structural-typological and system analysis; in a multivariate analysis and systematization of borrowed vocabulary in the socio-economic and scientific-technical terminology of the Ukrainian language; identification and generalization of the problem of the correct translation and
