The object of research is modern Germanic and Slavic languages in the aspect of translation studies.The purpose is to analyze and describe the manifestations of the human factor in the grammatical structure of the Germanic and Slavic languages and to determine their reflection when translating from one language into another; show how the formation of grammatical meanings correlates with human perception and cognition.А complex methodology was applied, which has a system of coordinated pedagogical research methods: -analysis of scientific linguistic, psychological, pedagogical, methodological literature on the problem of research, consideration of completed dissertations, the method of theoretical modeling; empirical methods - pedagogical experiment, testing, questioning, talks with students, undergraduates, graduates; observation, attendance and analysis of classes, analysis and generalization of pedagogical experience. The scientific novelty is as follows: clarified and deepened understanding of the essence of the concepts of "foreign language professional communicative competence", "interactivity", "interactive learning"; theoretically substantiated, developed and practically tested pedagogical technology for the formation of foreign language competence of students-translators and the mechanism of its implementation using an interactive teaching method (within the context of contextual, grammatical, and communicative approaches); the interactive method of teaching a language and translation is considered comprehensively. The results of the study and conclusions can be used in the educational process in order to increase the level of foreign language competence of students, during teaching curricula, preparing elective courses, conducting testing, training and role-based classrooms. Predictive assumptions about the development of the object of research - the search for an optimal learning model for the relevant components of a foreign language discourse.
