 The criteria of professional competence of teachers are determined; psychological basis of pedagogical competence of teachers; psychological principles of competency-oriented textbooks, conditions for the implementation of competency-based learning in secondary schools using information technology; organizational and pedagogical conditions of teacher training for competency-based learning; psychological basis of pedagogical competence of teachers; motivational factors of educational activity in competence-oriented education, methods of psychological and pedagogical research of personal qualities of students in the conditions of competence-oriented learning; psychological and pedagogical factors, professionally important qualities and personal determinants that influence the formation of competencies of individual competitiveness, which is the basis of teacher training for the implementation of competency-based learning. Analyzed: normative documents on the organization of teacher training, in particular the professional standard of teachers, guidelines for the development of educational and professional programs for bachelors and masters in pedagogical specialties, training programs for teachers, etc .; Recommendations for formulating a list of competencies to be improved / acquired (general, professional, etc.) during in-service training were used in the set of in-service training programs for teachers of general secondary education institutions. Field of knowledge: 01 Education Specialty 014 Secondary education. A system of scientific and methodological support for the implementation of competency-based learning has been introduced, based on providing diagnostics of the level of educational achievements in competency-oriented teaching of pedagogical activities in competency education.
